Re: Injector Control Options
Water hammer in the fuel rail would be hard to detect if there is a fuel pressure dampener on there. Also depends on the injection setup ie sequential vs batch.

Re: When tuning what should be turned off??
For force inducted cars, the FPR should always stay connected. 1:1 just means its going to go up 1 PSI for each PSI of boost. Disconnecting it results in incorrect fuel delivery when on boost which is gonna throw your tune off.

Re: Open Source Wideband Display
Actually I was hoping he could have a firmware version that takes a 0-5V input and show the EGT, as I have a PLX EGT box that outputs a 0-5V.jbelanger wrote:You'd also need some sort of thermocouple amplifier such as the AD595 to have a 0-5V signal.

Re: Open Source Wideband Display
How about a version that displays EGT as well? Same idea, 0-5V input just shows EGT in F.
By as well, I mean a different version. I imagine that could just be a firmware change.

Well the upside of being separate is that it can be used on older setups, and maybe reduce the price of MS3.

That would be pretty sweet, since a 4GB stick is like $12 now.sry_not4sale wrote:Love this idea also! Was thinking about it myself, but I thought about using a usb memory stick for it.

Re: Connector considerations
I have Amp CPC connectors on my MS. They are very nice for this, but there ARE a few downsides. First is that they arent available in a right angle PCB mount, so there would need to be a vertical board of some sort that connects to the main board, or we have to go with wires to the board. I currentl...
