Hay there all..

whats the status of the project, i check every week with bated breath, but things seem to of stalled a bit..
i spent a LOT of money to get rid of my MS as it just not cutting it.. I have gone to a Motec M400

so in short just wondering where diyefi is now..

Current status is as follows :

The code that I have on my PC ran my Volvo in fuel only configuration in the USA and was tuned by our user m2cupcar on the road using the tuning app written by Aaron Barnes (srynot4sale).

The work I did on the code in the US of A was done haphazardly and not even committed to source control. I spent some hours in Wellington sorting that out while staying with Aaron and co. I didn't yet push those changes, make a release, or publicly discuss the next moves because I'm not yet done making changes, because I'm extremely busy reclaiming my previous before-britain life back (friends, partys, dinners, bbqs, burnouts, working on cars, boat trips, etc), because I don't have DSL at home here, because my linux machines haven't been online in weeks, etc.

Over the next 2 weeks I plan to rectify that situation as best I can along with prepare a CV and start looking for paid work.

I'm sorry for the apparent stagnatism, but it is hard to achieve anything on a low ram xp machine without sufficient tools and with low bandwidth cell internet. As soon as I have a place of my own to live, more will get done more quickly.

I will send out a to all users email when I release 0.1.0 as it is a significant mile stone in my eyes at least.

The next phase is a total design/redesign of the timing and structure of the fuel/ign output stuff. This badly needs work done and we have some talented members on board to get it done right. This work can't begin until post 0.1.0 however, so please be patient, we are not going away, period.

This year will be HUGE for FreeEMS and DIYEFI in general. Mark my words.

make a good accell enrichment system that can be tuned by anyone. not just albert insitine..

Honestly? I'm actually relaxing for once in a long while. Also, when I tried to get back into the FreeEMS Tuner code a bit ago I hit a brick wall with my assignment and again I'm enjoying the break too much to bug Aaron about it. =/

The biggest thing the tuner needs right now is table save and restore. I can get aaron to bug you if you like, that would lessen the bugging he does of me at the moment to around 50% ;-)

I wish i was rich, then i would form a company and PAY you to finish this thing..
That is how happy i am with my other ecu...

I mean it is not bad at all, just has no resolution, and has the WORST accel and decel correction maps i have used EVER.
so with knowing that, it is actually not bad. I mean the car starts and drives,, isent that all it is supposed to do :S

Right now I'm at Cam's place stealing his because the crappy cell stick I have has the bandwidht maxed out and extra is 50c per meg... not good. (2 gig cap)
