I see it has the LM chip that I just nicked from DFH, so it's probably good for much of what you need. I also see it has some drive circuits, so it might also be good for some other circuits as well. If you upgrade those drive chips, it might be good for injector control. After that you'd would mostly need some AN inputs and perhaps ignition drive.

I nicked the LM chip because it's common gnd creates a poor common mode rejection so it's not quite as accurate as the MAX chip JBPerf uses in his board because the input signal is bit less immune to noise than it could be. The LM chip also has a mild problem with skipped tooth wheels, as it has a slow response to detecting a fast change in sensed teeth. However that's often not a problem, if you don't rev to some 9kRPM or if you can keep the noise floor down on the sensors inputs.

Would recommend the max based board, personally. Especially with your desires for ignition drivers in close proximity.

Ignition drivers is still going to be away from the ecu either in another box or inside the engine bay. I wont know on design just yet but i might make a couple modules in the end. Since i had to rip out the glove box i have allot of space.
  • TA Card
  • Power Supply ( maybe 4x supplies one for each board with kill switches )
  • Injectors
  • ignition drivers ( in another case away from ecu )
  • inputs/outputs (this might be the board the TA plugs into)
With the above idea i will keep things separated and replaceable. Still have lots to think about. i hope the formating works this time :D
HMM post office dropped off a box today ! I have my TA card. :!: now to wait a month for the rest

There is a lot of duplication in there, and some "what is that for?"s too. You are probably missing a few essentials as well. Paste list first, order second :-)

If you can post what i would be missing because local stores is out of the question. Everything will have to be ordered.

Thank you thank you, the applause is too much, even if I AM a great but unrecognised artist.
