See, now that you've been specific about this, I can point out that the ground path for those ICs, in our application, is virtually unused. Much like the 12V path on the injector FETs. Do you see it? That's because there is absolutely no current in that case, the flow is from ground in, to ground out. For the ignition IC it's from 12V or 5V in to the same out. Ground isn't really involved, except to reference the input signal.
The general point is good, of course, however it's useless, especially for someone whose English is very clearly weak, to make broad sweeping statements like that.
And, if that particular topic is a concern, and you're interested in obtaining a Jaguar, you might want to crack open kicad and do a thorough layout review of it before 0.6-alpha goes to print. You could've cracked out git/kicad for this too, it's on github. Screenies were a mere convenience for lazy (read busy) mongrels like me ;-)

Re: Guepard board
I had cloned the repo and the PCB files weren't up. The most recent commit was 3 weeks ago.

Re: Guepard board
MPX4250 3D module is wrong
I go update my git
Re: Guepard board
What is the big round thing in the middle?
How do you have bluetooth and ftdi connected?
What are the two tiny ICs each side of the big round thing? (near FTDI and near MPX4250)

Re: Guepard board
big round in the middle is the CR2032 battery for RTC
bluetooth is connected to RX1 and TX1 and FTDI to RX0 and TX0
between MPX4250 and battery holder you have the MCP2551 for CAN
between UC and battery holder is M41T56M6 for RTC

Re: Guepard board
Just curious: Why do you want an RTC? What are you planning to do with CAN?

Re: Guepard board
Can you push the .brd file so I can double check your MAP and AAP sensor traces?
I just did a "git pull" and a "git checkout dev" and the .brd file does not show up.
From your schematic and PCB photo it appears you are using a SMD AAP sensor, which according to the schematic should be "wired" correctly, but it appears you are using the through hole MAP sensor which should use pins 1,2,3 instead of 2,3,4 (like the SMD part). I would double check your datasheets and make sure the schematic and PCB traces are correct for the parts you are using.
Thanks!

Re: Guepard board
RTC and CAN is for future use not necessary
I'm going check my datasheet for AAP
with the last version of kicad no .brd but a .kicad_pcb
I had you to collaborator on my repository

Re: Guepard board
No need to add him as a collaborator, please reverse that, even if you intend to seek help from him :-)
